Phnom penh: H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, recently met with Mr. Michael Cheow, Chairman of C. Michael International Sdn. Bhd., along with a group of Malaysian investors, to discuss the organisation of international tourism promotion events in Cambodia.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting included a presentation by Mr. Michael Cheow of a project titled 'The Kingdom's Grand Prix and Gala,' which encompasses a series of significant international tourism promotion events. Mr. Cheow emphasized that the proposed events are expected to not only stimulate the local economy and generate employment opportunities but also showcase Cambodia's capability to host large-scale and modern international events.

H.E. Huot Hak expressed his support for the company's proposal, confirming the Ministry of Tourism's commitment to facilitating major international tourism events in the Kingdom. He highlighted that the project would mark a commendable milestone for investors and offer substantial economic advantages to the Cambodian population through enhanced tourism development.
