RESTU FOUNDATION PUBLISHES SPECIAL QURAN MUSHAF TO RAISE FUNDS FOR PALESTINE

PUTRAJAYA, The Restu Foundation has published 30,000 copies of the Al-Quran Mushaf Palestine special edition to raise funds amounting to RM3 million to aid the Palestinian people.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, who is also Restu Foundation deputy chairman, said the public can contribute RM100 for one copy of the Quran with English translation.

“The infaq and waqaf will be entirely channelled to the people of Palestine,” he told reporters after launching the Al-Quran Mushaf Palestine Special Edition here today.

“This (Al-Quran Mushaf) is an additional edition to help Palestine, including in terms of healthcare, food or the construction of schools and mosques,” he said.

The foundation collaborates with several non-governmental organisations, including the Palestinian Cultural Organisation Malaysia, to publish the Al-Quran Mushaf Palestine, which incorporates Palestinian art motifs in each juz (parts) of the Mushaf.

The Restu Foundation is a non-profit entity known for producing the Al-Quran Mushaf and related Al-Quran publications with exclusive designs.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas, the governing authority in Gaza, since Oct 7 has resulted in the loss of thousands of lives on both sides.
