Cambodia and Ukraine Explore Economic and Investment Cooperation.


Phnom penh: Cambodia and Ukraine have engaged in discussions to explore the potential of establishing a bilateral agreement focused on mutual investment promotion and protection. The talks took place on October 30, featuring H.E. SAR Senera, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and H.E. Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine, who was accompanied by H.E. Gaman Oleksandr, Ambassador of Ukraine to Cambodia.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. SAR Senera emphasized Cambodia’s investment-friendly legal framework and regulations, which offer assurance, protection, and numerous incentives to foreign investors. He also underscored the nation’s political stability and access to extensive markets, such as the GMS market with a population of approximately 330 million, the ASEAN market with around 671 million people, and the RCEP market encompassing up to 2.3 billion individuals.

pressed gratitude for the information provided by the Cambodian representatives and highlighted Ukraine’s strengths, particularly in the agricultural technology sector, including fertilizers and animal feed.
