A Cambodian Wrestler Wins a Bronze Medal from U23 Asian Wrestling Championships 2023

Cambodian wrestler Sou Bali has grabbed a bronze medal from the U23 Asian Wrestling Championships 2023 held in Bishkek, Kirgizstan from June 10-18.

Mr. Sou Bali defeated the host athlete 10-0, but lost to his Turkmen opponent in the semi-final, before winning 6-1 over his Mongol rival to gain the bronze medal last night.

Cambodia sent four athletes to join the regional games. The other three are Ms. Chea Kanha, Mr. Mo Sari, and Ms. Choeun Sreylen.

Mr. Sou Bali, Mr. Mo Sari and Ms. Chea Kanha are the gold medalists in the 125kg, 97kg and 65kg categories, respectively, while Ms. Choeun Sreylen is the bronze medalist in the 62kg category, at the 32nd SEA Games in May in Cambodia.
