IPOH, Perak MIC's new leadership lineup is expected to drive sustainable transformation in both politics and community development, said its chairman Tan Sri M. Ramasamy. He said that all appointed committee members are grassroots leaders who are deeply connected to the community and understand its needs. 'The appointments were made after discussions and with the mandate from MIC president Tan Sri Dr. SA Vigneswaran. 'These individuals are experienced in the political arena with strong leadership qualities and are committed to bringing positive changes for the Indian community in Perak,' he said in a statement. Ramasamy, who was appointed as Perak MIC chairman in August to replace Datuk V. Elango for the 2024-2027 term, announced the new state MIC committee members during a ceremony here yesterday.
