The National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia has adopted 15 draft laws during its 9th session of the 6th legislature, said its announcement AKP received this afternoon.
The 9th session of the 6th legislature of NA, which began on Mar. 30, 2023, is scheduled to be wrapped up on July 6, 2023, it pointed out.
During the over-three-month period, the NA has received a total of 27 complaints and requests for intervention from the citizens, said the source, adding that 14 of the complaints and requests have been sent to competent ministries and institutions with three response letters from them, while 13 others have been being studied.
Besides, the leaders and members of NA have visited people in the capital and provinces, attended the inauguration of various achievements, joined the opening and closing ceremonies of the SEA Games 2023 in Phnom Penh, participated in meetings of different inter-parliamentary organisations, and accompanied His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, on a state visit to the Republic of India.
