KUALA LUMPUR, MJets Air Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of MMAG Holdings Bhd, has formalised a bilateral interline traffic agreement with Japan's All Nippon Airways Co Ltd (ANA). In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, MMAG said the strategic partnership will capitalise on the combined strengths and networks of both airlines to optimise cargo operations, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency. 'The agreement is expected to strengthen connectivity between Southeast Asia, China, Japan, and the wider Asian region, ensuring smoother and more efficient cargo flow across key markets while allowing both airlines to offer a more comprehensive range of services by leveraging each other's cargo capacity,' it said. Under the terms of the agreement, MJets Air and ANA will transport each other's shipments on designated routes, with charges and other terms to be determined based on actual cargo transported during the agreement's validity period. MMAG added that the agreement is effective from Aug 10, 2024, and will remain in full force until terminated by either party. The partnership is also expected to contribute positively to the overall future net assets and earnings of the MMAG group for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2024. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
