Oddar meanchey: The HALO Trust's demining team has successfully completed a mine clearance operation in a contaminated area located in Ta Dev village, Trapeang Tav commune, Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) announced on the morning of June 17 that one anti-vehicle landmine was discovered and safely destroyed during the operation.

The cleared route is used by approximately 200 local residents for agricultural activities. The clearance work is expected to improve safe access and transport in the area while supporting the livelihoods of surrounding communities.

HALO Trust reaffirmed its continued commitment to making communities safer and free from the threat posed by landmines.
