KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today. Spot month July 2024 and December 2024 fell 9.0 points each to 1,610.0 and 1,602.5, while August 2024 decreased 8.5 points to 1,612.5 and September 2024 was 8.0 points lower at 1,596.0. Turnover increased to 11,856 lots from 7,865 last Friday, while open interest rose to 54,367 contracts from 49,859 contracts previously. The market was closed yesterday in conjunction with the Awal Muharram replacement holiday. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 3.40 points to 1,614.42 from Friday's close of 1,611.02. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
