Tourists Flock to Angkor Botanical Garden

More and more tourists have flocked into Angkor Botanical Garden in Siem Reap province after the official inauguration last week.

According to the APSARA National Authority, on May 22 alone, the Angkor Botanical Garden attracted over 7,700 national and international visitors.

Located in Sangkat Kok Chak, Siem Reap provincial city, the 15-hectare Angkor Botanical Garden is divided into five different large gardens – spice garden and herb garden, flower and grass garden, palm garden, Khmer garden, and Angkor forest and wildlife garden.

The Angkor Botanical Garden, inaugurated on May 19, 2022, is becoming another new tourist destination in Siem Reap. The park is home to tens of thousands of trees and more than 500 different species of plants, such as flowers, grass, and fruit trees, which can be considered a particular park beyond other theme parks in Cambodia, because this garden is in the Khmer style, and there are many kinds of vegetables, medicinal plants garden, palm garden, Khmer inspirational garden, forest and wildlife garden as well as many kinds of zoos such as turtles, peacocks, pigeons, rabbits, etc.
