Caretaker Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning announced that he will explain the formation of a new government on Aug. 3, 2023 at the inauguration ceremony of a ring road, according to a voice message on his social media networks.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen asked for understanding from factory workers as he could not visit them after the election as promised due to time limit and the establishment process of the newly-elected government.
“Dear all workers, during my previous visits, I promised that after the election, from July 27, I will resume my visit to workers in 10 destinations, both in Phnom Penh and in provinces. But due to time constraint and the establishment of new government, I’d like to ask for your apology as the visit will be postponed to after the new government is formed because now it is a caretaker government,” he said.
“There is a possibility that the new prime minister would visit the factory workers, instead of the old prime minister,” he added.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he will address this issue on Aug. 3, 2023 at the inauguration ceremony of the third ring road.
