Samdech Techo Hun Sen Encourages Cooperation Expansion between Cambodian and Indonesian Armies

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, outgoing Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this afternoon visiting H.E. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the courtesy meeting, H.E. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman informed Samdech Techo Hun Sen of the outcomes of his bilateral meeting with H.E. Mao Sophann, Acting Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army.

Both sides agreed to further boost their existing cooperation through strengthening the exchange of experience and information and expanding the scope of military training, H.E. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman said.

In reply, Samdech Techo Prime Minister highly valued the cooperation between both countries’ armies and encouraged them to increase their cooperation, considering that the army is “diplomat of peace.”
