PERAK FOLK URGED TO GRAB BROADBAND UNITY PACKAGE OFFER AT KITA MADANI CARNIVAL

The B40 group, persons with disabilities (PwD), senior citizens and police and military veterans in Perak have been urged to subscribe to the fixed broadband Unity Package offered by Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).

Perak Tengah TM Consumer Sales Operations and Implementation manager M. Sashideran said the package offers affordable fixed broadband with savings totalling RM480 to eligible targeted groups.

He said the package is now priced at RM69 per month from RM89 previously, with a speed of 30Mbps and a 24-month contract as well as free installation, adding that the package is available at the TM booth at the Kita MADANI Carnival which is taking place at Bulatan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya, here today and tomorrow.

“Internet is now a necessity…and our hope and target is to offer fixed broadband, mobile services to more Malaysians through Unifi.

“The package is also aimed at helping Malaysians to tackle the rising cost of living by reducing the cost for internet services for those who need it in digital communication,” he told Bernama when met at the carnival, which is held in conjunction with the 2023 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign, today.

“TM and Unifi are always committed to doing everything they can regarding customer satisfaction…This offer is the first of its kind in the industry because this is our commitment to Unifi customers so that they can continue to enjoy the best broadband experience,” he added.

The Unity Package offer is valid until Dec 31.

The launching ceremony of the National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign that carries the “Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan Penuhi Harapan” theme will be carried out tomorrow at 10 am by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof on behalf of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Communications and Digital Minister who is also the chairman of the main committee for the National and Malaysia Day 2023 celebrations, Fahmi Fadzil is expected to attend the ceremony.
