OCA Speaks Highly of Cambodia’s Readiness for 41st OCA General Assembly

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has spoken highly of Cambodia’s preparedness to host the 41st OCA General Assembly from Oct. 1 to 5.

The appreciation was made by Mr. Tony Tarraf, Head of OCA’s Athletes Development Department and Special Projects in a meeting chaired by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 41st OCA General Assembly here on Sept. 29.

According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Standing Vice Chairman of the OCA General Assembly Organising Committee, over 300 delegates, leaders and members of OCA from 45 countries and 10 observing countries have been registered for the 41st OCA General Assembly in Phnom Penh.

The General Assembly is also expected to attract the participation of the royal families, princes, senior government leaders from the Middle East countries.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will give opening remarks on Oct. 4 to demonstrate the government’s will and potential to foster national games and Olympic movement in line with the Olympic motto “Sports Build Better World”.
