Mountain Climbing in Kampot Attracting Foreign Tourists

Mountain climbing at Kbal Romeas prehistoric cave resort, locally known as "Phnom Neang Seda Oan" in Kampot province, is attracting more national and international tourists, not only to join the sport but also to visit the province. According to Mr. Oak Seiha, General Manager of Climbodia and Tour Guide in Kampot province, the Climbodia has created the Kbal Romeas prehistoric cave resort since 2013. Mountain climbing is a new tourism sport gradually attracting more national and international visitors to the resort. In the resort, tourists could visit caves, temples, and fossil rocks, ski a safety cable line over a valley, and climb rock walls, he added. On the peak of Kbal Romeas mountain, tourists could also sightsee fresh and beautiful views, pepper plantations, Bokor mountain, and Kep provincial landscapes.
