SEOUL, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin has arrived here today to begin his five-day working visit to South Korea. Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport at approximately 7.45 am local time, Mohamed Khaled and his delegation from the Defence Ministry were welcomed by the Counsellor (Defence) of the Malaysian Embassy in Seoul Col Mohamad Nazri Ahmad. Mohamed Khaled's visit aims at strengthening defence cooperation between both countries. During the visit, Mohamed Khaled among others is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the United Nations High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Nakamitsu Izumi. He is also scheduled to visit the Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd (KAI) and participate in the Seoul Defence Dialogue 2024 which will be inaugurated by South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-Soo.
