Handan:AMRU Rice (Cambodia), a leading exporter of certified organic rice, presented Cambodia's sustainable agricultural practices at the 2nd IFOAM Organic Industry and Organic Product Market Development Conference in Handan, Hebei Province, China, on October 29-30.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the two-day conference convened global trade representatives, suppliers, and industry experts to discuss emerging trends in organic farming, trade expansion, and sustainable food systems.

AMRU Rice aimed to expand market access for Cambodian organic rice, secure direct international buyer agreements, and integrate local growers into global organic supply chains. The company emphasized the conference's role in solidifying Cambodia's position in the international organic market and increasing value for farming communities, commercial partners, and end consumers.

China remains the primary export destination for Cambodian milled rice. Recent trade data shows that Cambodia exported 177,700 tonnes of milled rice to China, generating approximately US$105 million in revenue.
