MADANI RIDE PDRM-ISBC TO TRAVEL OVER 1,200 KM IN CONJUNCTION WITH NATIONAL MONTH, POLICE DAY

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Madani Ride convoy will travel over 1,200 kilometres to all corners of the peninsulaas well as southern Thailand in conjunction with the National Month and the 216th Police Day.

Bukit Aman Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) Commander SAC Mohd Said Ibrahim, who led the convoy, said the six-day tour to every police contingent in the peninsula which started yesterday (Aug 16), was also joined by the Ipoh Super Bike Club (ISBC).

He said a total of 150 high-powered motorcycle riders comprising PDRM staff and ISBC members from Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore were involved.

"We started at the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre, then visit all the contingents in the peninsula and also go to southern Thailand.

"Yesterday at the Melaka and Johor contingents, today we will continue our journey to Kuantan, Pahang and Terengganu," he said at a press conference after the ISBC PDRM Ride Madani Ride Convoy ceremony at the Johor Contingent Police Headquarters, here yesterday.

Also present were Johor deputy police chief DCP M.Kumar and ISBC Club chairman Chia Poh Huat.

Mohd Said said the convoy will then visit the contingents in Kedah, Ipoh, Perak, Penang and finally Shah Alam, Selangor.

He said the PDRM will also handover welfare donations to each contingent across the peninsula.
