KOSPI 200 Sees Significant Fluctuations with Notable Gains and Losses.


seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied movements with a mixture of gains and losses among its key constituents. Noteworthy increases were observed in several companies, while others faced declines at the closing of the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Life saw a rise of 200, closing at 104,000. LG Display followed with an increase of 100, finishing at 10,450. Doosanfc showed a notable increase, up by 520, ending at 17,670. SK surged by 1,100 to close at 150,100. NAVER and Celltrion led with significant gains, rising by 6,000 and 6,300, respectively. Amorepacific and CJ CheilJedang also saw considerable increases of 5,300 and 5,000, respectively. SamyangFood experienced the highest gain, up 69,000 to close at 589,000.

Conversely, KT and Samsung Card faced declines of 200 and 150, respectively. Hanon Systems dropped by 20, while TKG Huchems decreased by 230. JB Financial Group saw a decline of 160, and KIH fell by 200. Samsung SDS and Korea Aerospace experienced drops of 1,600 and 200,
respectively. Hana Financial Group and Hyundai Glovis also saw declines of 800 and 500, respectively. SK Innovation decreased by 700, PIAM by 290, and BNK Financial Group by 270. Among the financial groups, DGB Financial Group saw a decrease of 40.

Despite the mixed performance, GS and emart managed slight gains, closing 50 and 400 up, respectively. Other companies such as Kangwonland, Hyundai Rotem, Foosung, Poongsan, and Hanjinkal remained unchanged at the market close.
