Local and foreign journalists (outside ASEAN) who wish to cover the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA GAMES) and the 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023 in Cambodia can now register at https://seagames2023media.inb.gov.kh from this date until Mar. 20, said an announcement of the Ministry of Information issued this evening.
The interested journalists are required to attach 4 x 6 photos in (.jpg) format; Identity Card or Passport; Valid Press Card; and Letter of Assignment, it pointed out.
Journalists without accreditation pass issued by the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) are not allowed to access to all competition venues and Main Press Centre, the ministry underlined.
For media representatives in ASEAN countries, it added, they are required to register via National Olympic Committees of their respective countries.
The Committee will give priority in accreditation to any media organisation that has been producing and broadcasts sports news or regularly broadcasts sports news programme, stressed the announcement.
Cambodia will historically host the 32nd SEA Games from May 5 to 17, 2023 and the 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023 from June 3 to 9, 2023. However, the Cricket competition will be started earlier on April 26, and football on April 29, before other sports.
