This year's high school exam, previously scheduled for Nov. 14-15, was delayed for a week, to Nov. 21-22.

The delay was announced in a statement of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports signed yesterday by H.E. Minister Dr. Hang Choun Naron.

To ensure the smooth process of the annual exam and to avoid any disruptions to the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits to be hosted by Cambodia from Nov. 10 to 13, the ministry has decided to postpone the exam to late November, the source explained.

“The Ministry will soon issue a detailed work programme on the organisation and functioning of the high school exam in each phase – writing, correction, scoring, and result announcement,” the ministry said.
