Former Cambodian PM Sends Regards to ASEAN Leaders

As the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits kicked off in Jakarta, Indonesia this morning, ex-Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen sent his regards to the ASEAN leaders.

“Sending regards to ASEAN leaders who have been old friends for many years and best wishes from afar,” he shared on his social media.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, current President of the Supreme Privy Council of His Majesty the King, recalled that when he attended his first ASEAN Summit, the 3rd ASEAN Summit in the Philippines in 1999, he was the youngest prime minister, 47 years old, among the 10 ASEAN leaders.

This time, he continued, the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Indonesia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet is the youngest Prime Minister among the 11 leaders of ASEAN countries, including East Timor.

Now Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet is 45 years old.

“Is it accidental or is it prepared by Tevada (god)?” Samdech Techo Hun Sen asked.
