Cultural Exchanges to be Showcased to Cheer the Launch of 2024 Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year

Cultural exchanges through performing arts, dance, and music will be showcased during the launching ceremony of the 2024 Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year to be organised at the Terrace of the Elephants in Siem Reap province in the evening of Jan. 13. The information was shared in a preparatory meeting for the upcoming event, held in Siem Reap yesterday under the chairmanship of H.E. Sok Soken, Cambodian Minister of Tourism (MoT) with the participation of leaders of the MoT, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Information, and relevant partners. The launching event will be attended by around 500 Chinese delegates, including Chinese artists and tourists. According to the MoT, this grand occasion will be presided over by Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, a Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King, High Representative of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty t he King, and H.E. Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
