Kunming: Zhengzhou Shen’s Sun Group has expressed interest in investing in Cambodia’s agricultural sector, focusing on durian farming and processing for export to China. This investment is expected to create jobs for local people, increase incomes, and improve living standards. The interest was revealed by Ms. Xuemei Chen, Chairwoman and Founder of Zhengzhou Shen’s Sun Group, during a meeting with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed the company’s interest, emphasizing Cambodia’s potential for exporting a wide range of agricultural products to international markets competitively. On the same day, the Prime Minister also met with Mr. Sun Zhongdi, Chairman of Zhongjiao Tongli Company, who expressed intentions to expand investment in Cambodia’s northeastern provinces of Rattanakiri and Mondulkiri.

The Premier urged both Chinese firms to engage with relevant Cambodian ministries, institutions, and local partners to realize their investment plans soon.
