Cambodia’s Four-month Exports Rise by 32%

Cambodia exported US$7,606 million worth of goods in the January-April period, up 32.1 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the data from the General Department of Customs and Excise.

The Kingdom’s exports to the U.S. were amounted to US$2,923 million, a year-on-year surge of 53.6 percent.

The exports to Vietnam, the Kingdom’s second biggest market, were valued at US$977.2 million, up 5 percent.

China ranked third, importing US$423.7 million worth of products from Cambodia, inching down 0.1 percent year-on-year.

During the period, Cambodia’s total imports were about US$10,043 million, an increase by 5.4 percent.
