Phnom Penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a message to H.E. Donald J. Trump, congratulating him on his re-election as the 47th President of the United States of America.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the message emphasized the trust and confidence that the American people have placed in Trump’s leadership, vision, and experience in both private and public sectors. Hun Sen expressed confidence that Trump’s leadership would guide the United States toward a more prosperous future while contributing to global peace, stability, and prosperity.

The message also highlighted the upcoming 75th Anniversary of Cambodia-U.S. diplomatic relations in July 2025. Hun Sen expressed a firm belief that through joint efforts and mutual understanding and respect, the bilateral ties and cooperation between the two nations would be further strengthened and expanded.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with President-
elect Trump, his administration, and the U.S. Congress, particularly the Senate, to enhance the long-standing relations and cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally, for the mutual benefit of both nations and their peoples.
