Cambodian PM to Further Lobby Chinese Leaders and Companies

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet will further engage with key Chinese leaders and eight Chinese companies during his stay in Beijing for the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation from Oct. 17-18, H.E. Meas Sophorn told reporters this morning before the Premier’s departure for China.

According to the Prime Minister’s spokesperson, in China, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will attend the opening ceremony of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and will deliver his keynote address on the “Digital Economy as a New Source of Growth” on the occasion.

Besides, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will pay a courtesy call on Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping, hold bilateral meetings with Chinese Premier H.E. Li Qiang, and meet with a senior member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, H.E. Meas Sophorn added.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will also hold talks with H.E. Vo Van Thuong, President of Vietnam, and H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, President of Laos.
