Cambodia to Host 23rd ASEAN Civil Service Meetings and 8th ACCSM+3 in August

Phnom penh: As the current Chair of the ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM), the Ministry of Civil Service of Cambodia will host the 23rd ACCSM and the 8th ACCSM Plus Three meetings, and related meetings in August.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, a dedicated Media Briefing Session ahead of the upcoming regional meetings will be held on the afternoon of July 21 at the Public Administration Reform Committee located at the Royal School of Administration. H.E. Ms. Chhy Vichara, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Civil Service, and Mr. Seng Sotheavith, Director of ASEAN Resource Centre and International Relations, will serve as keynote speakers.

The Ministry has indicated that this briefing will provide national and international journalists with comprehensive insights into the ACCSM framework, the strategic priorities of Cambodia's Chairmanship, and the expected outcomes of the upcoming regional meetings.

The main ACCSM summits, along with the Forum on Good Governance, are scheduled to take place from August 3 to 5, 2026, in Siem Reap province. These high-level gatherings will bring together regional leaders to discuss public sector innovation, modernisation, and the strengthening of civil service cooperation across ASEAN member states and the Plus Three nations (China, Japan, and South Korea).
