Phnom penh: Cambodia's Ministry of National Defence has once again rejected Thailand's baseless accusation that Cambodia deliberately fired projectiles into Laotian territory, reaffirming its willingness to fully cooperate in investigating the incident. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Cambodia is prepared to collaborate with the Lao People's Army to ensure a thorough investigation is conducted. Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence, confirmed this commitment at a press briefing, highlighting the importance of responsibility, professionalism, and transparency. Lieutenant General Socheata stressed that the accusation is unfounded and malicious, aimed at tarnishing Cambodia's international standing. The spokesperson further clarified that Cambodia respects the sovereignty of its neighbors, including the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and has not engaged in any violations contrary to Thailand's claims.
