Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has released a press release detailing the outcomes of the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit, the 10th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, and the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Summit, all of which were held in Kunming, People’s Republic of China.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the summits focused on regional cooperation and development initiatives among the participating countries. The 8th GMS Summit addressed infrastructure development, economic growth, and environmental sustainability across the Greater Mekong Subregion. Participants discussed ways to enhance connectivity and promote sustainable development in the region.
The 10th ACMECS Summit emphasized economic cooperation strategies among the member nations. Key topics included trade facilitation, investment opportunities, and tourism development. Leaders discussed initiatives to boost economic integr
ation and enhance competitiveness in the region.
The 11th CLMV Summit focused on cooperation among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Viet Nam. Discussions centered on strengthening partnerships in areas such as trade, agriculture, and human resource development. The summit aimed to foster closer ties and mutual support among the CLMV countries to promote regional stability and prosperity.
