The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has issued some 6.58 million land titles to people by June this year, as it sets to complete the land registration next year.

The update was shared in a press conference organised here on Aug. 24 by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit of the Office of the Council of Ministers.

The 6.58 million land tittles are equal to 94.06 percent of the estimated 7 million land titles nationwide, read the report.

The ministry said it will continue the land registration work to reach 100 percent by 2023 and ensure the safe ownership of the land to live, cultivate and invest to create jobs, income and to contribute to socio-economic development.
