The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has just approved two international hospital projects in Khan Meanchey and Sensok, Phnom Penh capital. 
With a total investment capital of US$41 million, the two hospital projects of 417 beds could create 526 jobs for the locals, the CDC said in its press release today. 
Moreover, the CDC also gave the green light to six other investment projects with a total capital of US$48 million, generating nearly 5,000 more jobs, the same source added.

These projects cover, it continued, the development of Koh Thbal in Kep provincial city and the construction of food processing, electronic wire assembly, shoe accessories, and garment plants in the provinces of Kandal, Kampong Speu and Kampong Cham, and the capital of Phnom Penh. 
Such investments demonstrate confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability as the country is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
