The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Thailand last weekend joined the 11th Celebration of Thai Silk Road to the World in Bangkok, with the showcase of Khmer traditional clothing style of Longvek period in the 16th century.

H.E. Ouk Sophorn, Cambodian Ambassador to Thailand and his spouse led the Cambodian team at the event held on May 28 with guests from about 100 embassies and consulates in Thailand. 

Initiated in 2010, the Thai Silk Road to the World is aimed to promote Silk Diplomacy so as to strengthen the ties of friendship and cultural exchanges with embassies and consulates. 

On the occasion, ambassadors accredited to Thailand were invited to show their national dresses made with Thai silk.
