'I am very saddened to hear about the explosion incident occurred in the 3rd Military Region in Kampong Speu province on the afternoon of April 27, killing and injuring many soldiers,' said the monarchs in their separate royal messages on Monday. 'I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray that the soul of the deceased rest in peace. I would also like to wish all the injured a speedy recovery,' they added. Leaders of the legislative and executive bodies, senior officials, foreign ambassadors accredited to Cambodia and the general public have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the loss of 20 soldiers due to this tragic ammunition depot explosion at the 3rd Military Region l ocated in Chbar Mon city, Kampong Speu province. On April 28, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, High Representative of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, paid his last respects to the 20 fallen soldiers and attended their cremation ceremony.
