The Ministry of National Defence has strongly demanded that Thailand halt its armed attacks and the use of fighter jets over Cambodian territory. These actions are deemed a severe breach of Cambodian sovereignty and international law. The provincial authorities have reported significant casualties and damage. As of December 12, 2025, at 13:00 p.m., the toll has reached 11 civilian fatalities, including one infant, and 59 injuries. The Ministry calls for Thailand to demonstrate sincerity and goodwill if it genuinely seeks peace, emphasizing that peace requires concrete actions beyond verbal commitments.

Cambodia urges Thailand to honor the Ceasefire Agreement and the Joint Declaration signed on October 26, 2025, witnessed by U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the ASEAN rotating Chair.
