Sri Lanka is committed to promote cultural tourism potential promotion with Cambodia.
The commitment was made by H.E. Mrs. Colonne Appuhamillage Chaminda Inoka Colonne, Bangkok-based, newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Cambodia in a meeting with H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts here in Phnom Penh on May 10.
H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona and H.E. Mrs. Colonne Appuhamillage Chaminda Inoka Colonne discussed possibility to co-organise a cultural event to cheer the anniversary of Cambodia-Sri Lanka diplomatic relations this year.
They also spoke highly of the long-lasting relations and good cooperation between the two countries in all sectors, especially culture, religion, and education.
