Phnom Penh:Seoul: A prominent South Korean company specializing in drone batteries and technology is planning to lead a business delegation to Cambodia to explore collaboration opportunities with the country's public and private sectors.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the proposal was discussed during a recent meeting at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Seoul. During this meeting, H.E. Khuon Phon Rattanak, the Cambodian Ambassador to South Korea, met with Mr. Park Janghwan, the Managing Director of NEO Battery Materials Ltd.
NEO Battery Materials Ltd., established in 2021, focuses on producing batteries for various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in South Korea. Mr. Park, who was instrumental in engineering South Korea's first commercial drone test operations, expressed a keen interest in leading a delegation to Phnom Penh to forge strategic cross-border partnerships.
Ambassador H.E. Rattanak welcomed this initiative, emphasizing Cambodia's significant potential and increasing demand for drone technology applications in several key socio-economic sectors.
