Siem Reap Province Attracts Over 1 Million Tourists in First Seven Months

Siem Reap province, home to the famous Angkor temples, welcomed 1,242,854 tourists in the first seven months of this year, an increase by 890.17 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

The figures were shared by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, adding that 1,159,000 were domestic visitors and 83,854 were foreign tourists.

Among the foreign visitors, 48,765 entered the province by air, the minister said, adding that there were 550 flights during the said period.

There were about 10 airlines operating domestic and international flights to Siem Reap province
