Cambodia scored two goals against Laos in their first match in Group B of Women’s Football at the SEA Games 2023 hosted by the Kingdom.

The match took place at the Smart RSN Stadium in Phnom Penh this evening.

Dy Sothea got the first two goals at the 10th and 37th minutes.

Besides Laos, Cambodia will meet Singapore on May 6 and Thailand on May 9.

Earlier, on the same day, Vietnam defeated Malaysia 3-0 and the Philippines lost to Myanmar 0-1 in Group A, while Thailand won 4-0 over Singapore in Group B.

Women’s Football tournament at the 32nd SEA Games 2023 is taking place from May 3 to 15 at two stadiums: Army Stadium (Old Stadium) for Group A and Smart RSN Stadium for Group B, with the participation of eight countries.

Group A consists of Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Malaysia, while Group B includes Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Singapore.
