Phnom Penh:Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, met with H.E. Igor Driesmans, the EU Ambassador to Cambodia and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar, at the Senate's Solidarity Palace.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting included discussions on various matters of mutual interest. H.E. Chea Thyrith, the Senate's spokesperson, stated that Samdech Techo Hun Sen warmly welcomed the EU Ambassador and his delegation.

H.E. Igor Driesmans expressed gratitude to Samdech Techo Hun Sen for the opportunity to meet and discuss. He emphasized the EU's ongoing contributions to Cambodia, particularly in areas such as mine clearance.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen acknowledged and appreciated the EU's support, especially its efforts in mine clearance operations within Cambodia. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues during their meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen wished H.E. Igor Driesmans success in his diplomatic endeavors in Cambodia.
