Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, on the occasion of the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Hun Sen expressed warm congratulations on behalf of Cambodia’s legislative and executive bodies. He praised the Republic of Korea for its significant contributions to regional and global development, emphasizing its leadership in science, digital, technology, and innovation. He conveyed confidence in Korea’s continued global contribution.

The message highlighted the strengthening of diplomatic ties between Cambodia and South Korea since 1997, culminating in a Strategic Partnership. Hun Sen expressed optimism about further deepening parliamentary cooperation under Woo Won-shik’s leadership, which he believes will bring mutual benefits and contribute to regional peace and stability.

Hun Sen concluded his message by wishing Woo Won-shik good health and prosperity for the Republic of Korea.
