Samdech Men Sam An Commends Save Cambodian Children Fund Australia for Poverty Reduction Through Education


Phnom penh: Samdech Kitti Sangahapundit Men Sam An, Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King of Cambodia, presided over a gala dinner of the Save Cambodian Children Fund Australia (SCCFA) at the Himawari Hotel in Phnom Penh on Oct. 5.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, in her address, Samdech Men Sam An offered profound appreciation for the SCCFA’s “noble humanitarian activities,” recognising their significant contribution to the Royal Government’s core efforts in reducing poverty and alleviating the hardships faced by Cambodian children and citizens.



She singled out Ms. Bun Levisida, Founder of the Fund, and all staff for special thanks, commending their “tireless dedication and remarkable achievements,” which she described as a great source of pride.



Samdech Men Sam An stressed that such generosity embodies the critical spirit of sharing and mutual assistance, values that she asserted should be practiced universally and without discrimination. She added that these sustained efforts are an important contribution to promoting humanity and solidarity, which, in turn, strengthens the SCCFA’s resolve to pursue its mission with greater effectiveness.



Furthermore, she highlighted the patriotism demonstrated by Cambodian nationals living abroad who continue to actively contribute to the development and well-being of their homeland.



Samdech Men Sam An concluded by expressing her gratitude to all philanthropists, dignitaries, civil society organizations, national and international guests, development partners, and artists for their ongoing support and financial contributions toward the SCCFA’s mission and its planned goals.
