Requirement for COVID-19 Vaccination Proof Removed for All Passengers

Cambodia has announced to remove the requirement for the passengers to present their COVID-19 vaccination certificates upon arrival in the country, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release issued this afternoon.

With effect from Oct. 3, it said, all passengers entering Cambodia via land border gates, waterways, and airports are no longer required to provide the COVID-19 vaccination proof.
Anyway, non-contact infrared thermometres and quarantine staff will remain stationed at the border gates, it added.

The ministry took the opportunity to call on the citizens or passengers who have not yet been inoculated with the basic or booster doses against the pandemic to do so with free of charge and to continue to follow up their own health and to implement the Three Dos, Three Don’ts measure.

Cambodia has administered the basic doses against COVID for 94.98 percent of the total 16 million population as of Oct. 2, 2022.
