Pailin: The Secretariat Meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand Regional Border Committee (RBC) between Cambodia's Military Region 5 and Thailand's Chanthaburi-Trat Border Defence Command concluded today with significant positive developments. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the outcome was shared in a news release issued this afternoon by the Spokesperson of the Cambodian Ministry of National Defence following the meeting. The Secretariat Meeting, which kicked off this morning in Pailin province, was co-chaired by Major General Sar Kimpak, Head of the Cambodian Secretariat, and Captain Kittiphon Kunsiripanyo, Head of the Thai Secretariat. On the occasion, both parties reviewed the detailed points to be included in the Agreed Minutes for the upcoming Extraordinary Meeting of the Cambodian-Thailand RBC between Cambodia's Military Region 5 and Thailand's Chanthaburi-Trat Border Defence Command scheduled for tomorrow, Aug. 25, 2025.
