Prime Minister of Dominica to Visit Cambodia for Bilateral Talks


Phnom penh: The Honorable Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, is scheduled to make a working visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia on October 9, 2025. This visit is set to include several high-profile meetings aimed at enhancing diplomatic ties and cooperation between the two nations.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Dr. Skerrit will have a courtesy meeting with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, who serves as the Acting Head of State and President of the Senate of Cambodia. In addition, Dr. Skerrit will engage in a bilateral meeting with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace.



The discussions between the two Prime Ministers will focus on strengthening the relationship between Dominica and Cambodia and exploring avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation. This will be followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations between their respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs.



The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasized that this visit will play a pivotal role in reinforcing friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries and their people.
