Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) and the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) in collaboration with Kun Khmer Federation and Kun Khmer International Federation will organise Pre-SEA Games for the sport next week.

The update was shared yesterday by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, CAMSOC Secretary General, adding that Pre-SEA Games for Kun Khmer will take place at Otres Beach, Preah Sihanouk province from Dec. 9 to 11.

The event is expected to attract the participation of 142 athletes from 7 countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam.

It will be an event to measure the capacity of athletes as well as to allow Cambodian technical officials, arbitrators and judges to learn more and draw experience for the preparation of the SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia, he said.

Besides the Pre-SEA Games for Kun Khmer, the committee will organise Pre-SEA Games for Wrestling from Dec. 14 to 18, 2022 in Phnom Penh.
