More than 10,000 security forces will be deployed to maintain the security and safety during the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits on Nov. 8-13, 2022 in Phnom Penh, said Lt. Gen. Chhay Kim Khoeun, Deputy Commissioner General and Spokesperson for the National Police.

He stressed that the National Police Commissioner General is paying close attention to this priority task.

“Some of the deployed forces have been additionally trained on skills including defence techniques and cooperating well with the specialised forces from other countries such as the Interpol, Aseanapol,  FBI  and the police forces of Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, China, Australia and other partners,” he added.
