The National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia is proud and satisfied with the progress of the ties of friendship, traditional solidarity and long-lasting cooperation between the Party, State and people of Cambodia and Vietnam.

NA President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin made the remarks while receiving at the NA Palace this afternoon visiting H.E. Le Hoai Trung, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Chairman of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.

Samdech Heng Samrin expressed warm welcomed to H.E. Le Hoai Trung, and congratulated Vietnam on its rapid development. He expressed his belief that Vietnam will see more great achievements and its prestige on international scene will be further enhanced.

H.E. Le Hoai Trung briefed Samdech Heng Samrin of his visit in Cambodia, the purpose of which is to promote the relations and solidarity between the Party, State and people of both nations, making their relationship stronger and more effective.

He extended his congratulations to the Royal Government of Cambodia for successfully containing and preventing the COVID-19 pandemic and reopening the country, which provides better opportunities for further national development.
