MOWRAM Warns of Flash Floods

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has warned the public of more  flash floods due to heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusts.

MOWRAM made the warning in an announcement on new weather forecast made public this morning

The ministry thus appealed to local authorities and the public to keep their vigilance of possible flash floods, especially in the regions next to mountainous areas, waterways and at the border with Thailand.

According to the announcement, from Sept. 21 to 27, the temperature would vary between 23 to 34 degrees Celsius in the central low land areas, and from 22 to 33 for highland areas.

For the coastal areas, it pointed out, the temperature would range between 22 and 31 degrees Celsius.
