Mondulkiri Province Considered as Potential Crop Production Land

Mondulkiri province will become as hub for vegetable production in the near future due to its climate potential.

Speaking at a press conference organised here yesterday by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit. H.E. Men Ngoy, President of Mondulkiri Provincial Council, said thanks to the favourable weather condition and the rich red soil, the province is more promising compared to other provinces for growing vegetable.

According to the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, there are about 177 hectares of vegetable cultivation in the province.
